Gil "One Bill" Cedillo has once again introduced his asinine bill to give illegal aliens in California drivers licenses. This one is titled SB 1160). Someone needs to investigate who is paying this asshat off and why he is continuing this quest to legitimize illegal aliens in the state at the expense of taxpayers, legal aliens and American citizens.
Back in October, 2005 Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed the illegal alien drivers license bill and in September, 2004 he vetoed another of Gil Cedillo's bills. After the veto in 2004, illegal aliens and their supporters tried to pull a boycott of gas stations that failed miserably.
Maybe if we're all lucky this guy won't be around to introduce this again. You have to remember we're talking about California here though...

Despite six failed attempts over the past seven years, state Sen. Gil Cedillo on Tuesday re-introduced his proposal to allow illegal immigrants to apply for driver's licenses.

Schwarzenegger's press secretary reiterated that stance Tuesday.
"The governor remains firm in his commitment to put public safety before any other issue," Margita Thompson said. She added that Schwarzenegger still believes that issuing the licenses would be premature because the state is awaiting federal regulations on how to comply with standards Congress has approved for licenses.
Why they're ducking the issue and not just saying it's ridiculous and rewards lawbreakers they continue the "awaiting federal regulations" BS. Talk about spineless.
