Government Union Workers Destroying America - John Stossel [Video]

Bookmark and Share

The growth of government union jobs - and the huge increases in pay they are receiving - is destroying this country. Under the guise of being "public servants" these hard core extorting organizations are rife with corruption and demands. They threaten to shut down cities if you don't give them money and incessantly whine that they aren't paid enough. Yet in the video below John Stossel points out that union teachers in California (which is virtually all of them) make more than registered nurses and computer programmers. Of course you wouldn't know that from the way they are always crying and saying that it's "all for the children".

Some are retiring with pensions in the hundreds of thousands paid to them each year and then getting another "public service" job. This brings some of their pay to over $500,000 a year. All, of course, because they just want to "help the public". But these vicious thugs are nothing more than leaches on the true producers in this country and I'm not sure how much longer the American people are going to put up with it. They have a notorious history of thuggish behavior when they don't get their way, but I wonder how thuggish they would be when confronted with the American people fighting back. Street warfare, is it coming soon?

And I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the majority of these "workers" are controlled by socialist and race and gender based leaders calling for inequality in their favor. Women's Rights groups, race based groups and just general socialists litter the playing field of "public service". Just like Affirmative Action it is to ensure that there is no level playing field that they are fighting on, but that they receive the bulk of everything, from pay to health care to freebie vacations. All while you are driven into the dirt for not being a part of their exclusive thug club.

Arnold initially tried to do something about unions in California, but they smacked him down so hard he gave up. Government union workers make well above prevailing market wages, and we the taxpayer fund it all. Quality is not in line with those salaries-they just make more.

Yes, there is a truth behind this but in order to prevent all these, the concerned government agency should properly monitor this phenomenon and act accordingly based on the stipulated implementing guidelines. Nothing happens to this unless an action must be taken to control suckers.
