Congressman Devin Nunes called the Ramos family and the delegation for You Don't Speak For Me to come back to his office for a meeting after the incident reported this morning on the Nunes staff driving the Ramos family to tears.

Rita is sitting right next to me now after coming back from that meeting and just told me that Nunes has committed to co-sponsor 563, the bill introduced in the House by Duncan Hunter to pardon Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean!

I gave her a hug and was just elated at this news! ALIPAC wanted me to go over there for the 3PM meeting this afternoon, but I declined. The job is done and I would have just been a distraction.

The family is thrilled and I'm hoping that more in the Hispanic caucus - as well as these other Congressman sitting around eating lobster tail while these two agents sit in jail - get behind the Ramos and Compean families as well as the family of Gilmer Hernandez.

Kudos to you Congressman Nunes, you have righted a wrong and taken action on it!
