There's no way I'm going to win in the Weblog Awards, but I'm currently being beaten by 15 votes by someone called "The American Princess" and 17 votes behind "Optical Illusions Etc.". Sure she has "fashion sense" and optical illusions are cool -- we can all admit that -- but how can that compare to my hard hitting coverage on illegal aliens, Debra Lafave and Kiran Chetry on a pogo stick!

Come on readers, I know you're out there! I haven't asked for your vote other than the masthead text and my initial post on the awards. Throw the Digster a bone here. I'm begging you. I don't want to have to start wearing fashionable clothes or posting some pictures that give you a headache.

At least let me lose with dignity.
