The 2005 Weblog Awards have opened and are accepting nominations.
Last year Diggers Realm ended up in a tie for last place in the top 250-500 category.
We've been flirting with #500 on the TTLB for awhile, but according to the rules of the Weblog Awards it's based on a snapshot made on Nov 14, 2005, at which time we sat at #512. That's actually a good thing in this case since we won't have to go against kickass blogs like Speed of Thought.
It's all based on nominations, so if you feel Diggers Realm has brought you a chuckle, pissed you off or made you cheer about something sometime in the past year maybe you'd like to put us up.

I guess I won't be able to beg people to vote for me though. although I am not even sure how that works. I just remember Jeff G. begging last year.
