All Complaints From Mexican President Are In Support Of Illegal Aliens

Bookmark and Share

While the US and Canada talk about missile defense shields, "mad cow" disease and high tariffs on Canadian softwood lumber, all the Mexican President had to argue about were all related to allowing illegal aliens into the United States. Mexican President Vicente Fox argued against the "Minuteman Project", a group he claims are vigilantes hunting illegal immigrants in Arizona. He also argued against the finishing of the Otay-Mesa border fence in San Diego, a place were vast numbers of illegal aliens cross into the U.S. He also whined because the U.S. didn't seem to want to get behind George Bush's guest worker plan that amounts to a general amnesty for illegal aliens in our country.

So while Canada and the U.S. discussed real issues to grow our countries, the only thing Fox could talk about was how he could get more illegal aliens into the U.S. to siphon some money back to Mexico. A record $16.6 billion, a growth of 24% over last year, was sent back to Mexico, almost all of it from people in the U.S.. Money sent home to Mexico is the country's second largest industry behind Petroleum and ahead of tourism.

Rather than get his country on track, Vicente Fox would rather stick with what is happening now. Anyone who has been following the "Minutemen Project" knows that they are only going to patrol and report to Border Patrol illegal aliens they see. They aren't going to be vigilante's out there "hunting illegal aliens". Fox continues to try and disrupt any action that is put in place to crack down on people he is forcing out of his country due to his incompetence as a real leader. He would rather try and trump up false claims against American citizens than actually do something about the problem.

The "Minuteman Project" has not even begun patrolling the border. They will begin on April 1, yet the President of Mexico has already accused them of hunting down illegal aliens in a vigilante fashion.

San Francisco Chronicle

"There's some million people a day crossing the border from Mexico into the United States, which presents a common issue, and that is how do we make sure those crossing the border are not terrorists or drug runners or gun runners or smugglers," Bush said. "I have told the president that I will continue to push for reasonable, common sense immigration policy with the United States Congress."

...

With Mexico, relations also are strained by the Bush administration's anger over a high Mexican tax on soft drinks made with high fructose corn syrup, water owed to U.S. farmers and the suspicion that Mexico could do more on drug trafficking and to address fears that al-Qaida agents are slipping into the United States from the south.

Mexican officials complain about vigilante groups hunting illegal immigrants in Arizona, new U.S. walls being built along the border and the still-stalled status of a guest worker immigration liberalization proposal.

How Bush can say the words "There's some million people a day crossing the border from Mexico into the United States" with a straight face and then talk of how he's tough on terror is disgusting. The figure really isn't one million a day, it is about 4000 a day, with figures showing that the number of illegal aliens per year crossing our border having increased by 500,000 a year since September 11, 2001. The current estimates are that 3 million illegal aliens a year cross into the US.

In order to get this number down Bush would rather pass an amnesty in order to fudge the numbers, making some of them who have no right being here legal and then pointing out how he's "reduced illegal immigration".

Hey President Bush, instead of smoke and mirrors numbers how about you actually fix the problem. It's a lot easier to fix the problem than trying to fake it. When the next terrorist attack occurs it will no doubt be due to our lax southern border security and the blood of all the victims will be on all these bastards who refuse to do anything about it but talk of how nice illegal aliens are.

Unfortunatly, the only way we're going to stop the mujados is to make it to expensive for Bush's buddies in the commercial world.
We know who's scratching who's back in DC- on both sides of the aisle.

Unfortunately, the only real way to fix the problem is reform on the Mexican side. Economic reform, social reform, etc. I can't imagine the Bush Administration putting the necessary pressure on the Fox government to start the process of change.

The Bush Administration won't put any pressure on Mexico, especially after the conference they just had in which Bush admitted that he wanted an Amnesty program and was doing all he could to influence congress to his way of thinking.

A recent trip to the shoreline area southwest of Cancun made me instantly aware of how disfunctional Mexico's economy still is. Immediately after turning right onto the main coastal highway from the international airport, I was amazed and shocked how undeveloped the coastal area was for the 70 miles I drove -- potentially prime opportunity to offer retirement living options for all the snowbirds from the US and Canada at half the cost of any portion of the US southern coastline -- and a diverse array of jobs for their citizens. I'm not one to endorse indiscrimant development, but when your citizens need jobs, you need economic development zones. I later learned that only Mexicans can own real estate in Mexico -- so they are hypocrites to boot at the expense of their people.

Wouldn't it be great if we could send all our welfare cases and Un-employables to Mexico or Canada instead of deal with them . . that's what Vincente Fox and his predessors have done and are doing . . . . and will continue to do until we get some Congressmen with Balls . . .

GWBYA IN MY OPINION, YOU ARE THE POSTER BOY FOR FLIP FLOPPING. COMPARITIVELY ,J.F. KERRY IS A SMALL TIME FLIP FLOPPER. DOES'NT G.B. KNOW THAT THE PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION, WHICH HE SWORE TO UPHOLD, AT HIS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR INAGURATION, MANDATES THAT HE "PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE"? WELL G.B., WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CARRY OUT, THIS DEFENSIVE MEASURE, A CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT, BY CLOSING AND SECURING THE BORDERS TO PROTECT 'WE THE PEOPLE" FROM ALL ILLEGAL INVADERS? LISTEN GWBYA, CAN'T YOU HEAR ALL OF US PAUL REVERE'S, ALL OVER THIS LAND, TELLING YOU THAT THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL INVADERS ARE COMING BY LAND AND BY SEA? G.B YOU AND THE CONGRESS HAVE TO KNOW THAT HOARDS OF ILLEGAL INVADERS ARE COMING EVERYDAY USURPING OUR INFRSTRUCTURE AND MANY IF NOT ALL THE SERVICES PAID FOR BY HARD WORKING LEGAL(TAX PAYING) CITIZENS, AND YET YOU AND CONGRESS JUST STAND BY WATCH AND DO NOTHING. WHY?, WHY?, WHY? MR PRESIDENT ARE YOU GOING TO STAND UP TO V.FOX OR, AS OUR PRESIDENT, STAND WITH THE USA. I URGE YOU G.B. AND THE CONGRESS TO PASS LEGISLATION THAT BILLS,THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT OR GOVERNMENT OF ORIGIN OF THE INVADER FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF ALL COSTS FOR BIRTHING SERVICES PROVIDED TO ILLEGAL MOTHERS, EMERGENCY ROOM MEDICAL CARE FOR ALL OTHER INVADERS ETC, INCURRED BY THE USA IN HAVING TO DEAL WITH THESE INVADERS. IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE COURAGE TO DO THIS, THEN EITHER DEDUCT IT FROM THE FOREIGN AID, IF ANY, THAT WE GIVE THEM, OR FROM THEIR ASSETS HERE IN THIS COUNTRY.THIS ALL COULD BE AVOIDED IF YOU WOULD JUST SECURE OUR BORDERS, ITS THAT SIMPLE, OR AT LEAST THATS THE WAY I VIEW IT. GWBYA, YOUR EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST US. WHERE DO YOU STAND?

PS G.B,I URGE YOU TO SUPPORT H.R.698, AND TAKE BOLD ACTION TO ELIMINATE THE "ANCHOR BABY" POLICY, WHICH IS LUDICROUS,AS PROVIDED BY AMENDMENT NO.14. ARE YOU ALL AS FED UP AS I AM WITH THIS MESS THAT ONLY GETS MESSIER, BECAUSE SOME OF OUR SO CALLED REPRESENTATIVES DO NOTHING BUT LOOK OUT FOR THEIR OWN INTERESTS IE; MIDNIGHT PAY RAISES, GETTING RE=ELECTED TO STAY ON THE GRAVY TRAIN.
WELL I SAY TO THEM "ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY" LIKE OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN ARE DOING AND DYING FOR AT THIS VERY MINUTE.

It is obvious that most Americans feel the need to impose greateness, but the fact is that the U.S is not made up of white people as most people believe. The U.S. is the land of diversity when it comes to ethnicity. Why are we trying to keep people who build our homes, harvest our crops, and pay taxes for us to enjoy and not pay them back, away from our country. It is for a fact that the U.S. government makes more millions a year from the so called, "mojados" than what they spend on medical and feeding for all those poor people. We try to blame Mexico's President for trying to stand up for his people, but we do not realize that this guy has no other choice. it is not his fault the Mexican government is awful. There is nothing he can do to fix Mexico's problems, the last person who tried to do that got shot in the head. There is corruption in Mexico and there is corruption in the United States and that is where this all starts. People are starving down South and we are only abusing them when they step into our country. That is sick! I just fear the day when the latin community takes over the country and treat us like the crap that we are in denying help for them.
