Team America PAC co chairman and former congressman Tom Tancredo will be speaking at a rally on June 5 in support of Arizona's SB 1070 anti-illegal immigration legislation.
According to Tancredo:
"The mainstream media, political establishment, and special interests groups are all lining up against Arizona, it is important that Americans show that we stand with Arizona and for the rule of law. With La Raza leading a boycott against Arizona, simply traveling to the state sends a strong message."
The Rally, which is sponsored by Team America PAC along with numerous of other patriotic organizations, will take place at Wesley Bolin Plaza across from the State Capital in Phoenix, Arizona on the afternoon of June 5. In addition to Congressman Tancredo, other noteworthy speakers will include SB 1070's author Russell Pearce and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Congressman Tom Tancredo served Colorado's 6th Congressional District from 1999 until he retired this year. Recognized by both sides of the debate, as the leading critic of illegal immigration in the House, he founded and chaired to 100+ member bipartisan Immigration Reform Coalition. He ran for Republican nomination for president in 2008 and currently serves as Chairman of Team America PAC and the Rocky Mountain Foundation.
If Tom had not been a Congressman from my state---as well as a stalking horse Presidential candidate---I would think that his name was actually "Racist Tom Tancredo"...as THAT is how he is always referred-to on leftist and lateeno blogs.
For some reason, if you are a patriotic American who wants our nation's immigration laws enforced, it automatically makes you a xenophobe and/or a racist.
