The Obama Administration and the Democrats continued to make their assault on the E-Verify system. The E-Verify system is in place to ensure that those in this country have working status and are not illegal aliens. It has proven to be effective and therefore must be killed by those who want massive illegal immigration to continue and fester in our country.
The latest move by the Democrats is to limit funding to the program, thereby hoping that it will die a slow death. These continued actions show their true motives. They throw out strawman arguments that identify theft can fool the system, but rather than strengthen it by allowing the IRS to cross check filings to ensure that the same Social Security Number is not being used in multiple places throughout the country, they want to just kill E-Verify altogether. It is simply too effective.
Their true motives are exposed. Rather than fixing vulnerabilities to an effective system, they'd rather end it.
