Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has been involved in all kinds of shady and illegal practices for years when it comes to illegal aliens. From tax filing to getting an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number), ACORN and other organizations have been there every step of the way.

ACORN has also been helping illegal aliens get home loans, and not just any loans, but those with low to no interest and those with little to no down payment. These programs were set up to help low income Americans and have been used and abused by these groups to push their pro-illegal alien agenda. I have been covering this topic for years and how illegal alien mortgage defaults have had an impact on our housing crisis.

These pro-illegal alien groups are not alone in assisting illegal aliens. Wells Fargo, Citibank, Bank of America and Washington Mutual - among many others - have been openly courting illegal aliens to give them bank accounts, credit cards and mortgages for years. It hasn't been a secret, but nobody in government is doing a thing to stop it.

How anyone could give any kind of loan to an illegal alien - that is breaking the law, probably using stolen or fraudulent identification, has no pride in home ownership and can disappear overnight never to repay a dime - is beyond me. In the end the American taxpayer once again foots the bill, like we do for every single expense illegal aliens create, from health care to education. After all of the defaults, these companies went looking to the US Taxpayer to bail them out of their mess.

The media is finally catching on just a little to this and Fox and Friends covered it briefly this morning. I also like the fact that they pointed out that this is not a recent phenomena, but occurred throughout the Bush Administration as well.
