Soon to be Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to deny that illegal aliens have a significant impact on the California budget. He even went so far as to lambaste state government workers benefits while at the same time praising illegal aliens in the state. It is simply disgusting to watch for anyone outside of the bubble of California.
Estimates for the costs of illegal alien to the state of California in education. health care, welfare and other social services were estimated in 2004 to be $9 billion per year. Somehow the story below pulls some figures from the air - as they don't source their estimates as only $4-$5 billion per year. The current California budget deficit is $24.3 billion, yet Schwarzenegger says illegal alien costs are only a "small percentage" of the deficit California faces.
He calls those who point out the costs of illegal aliens as those who are just scapegoating illegals for the states problems. He then went on to try to personalize it by saying he is happy illegal aliens get those services because if he was visiting another country and got injured he'd hope that that country would cover his care. Idiocy. That country would expect him to cover his own costs.
Then he trotted out the tired old argument that Americans would starve and be sleeping in caves if it weren't for illegal aliens. "Everything we eat today is picked and created by undocumented immigrants, to a large extent," he said. "And every time we go to a restaurant and every time we go and move into a building, a lot of those buildings are built by undocumented immigrants' hands."
It is becoming clearer and clearer that Schwarzenegger has entered a delusional state where America would not even exist without illegal aliens. At this point it would not surprise me if the next thing out of his mouth is that there would have never been a Constitution or American Revolution without the hard work of illegal aliens. Americans are just that lazy, stupid and inane in his opinion.
Schwarzenegger has continued to lose his reasoning over the years and rather than being a person who looks at reality and makes proper decisions has become the "Girly Man" he so much mocked in his early statements as governor. Granted California has many issues to deal with regarding overspending and the continued ridiculous spending that the public votes into existence on ballots, but denying that illegal aliens have a significant impact on the state budget is just pure denial of common sense.

In response to dozens of questions from readers who say the state ought to wipe out the deficit by eliminating services for illegal immigrants, the governor said it is a "myth" that those immigrants are to blame.
He said the cost of services to illegal immigrants, which has been estimated at $4 billion to $5 billion annually [estimated by who?], is a "small percentage" of the deficit California faces.
"Yes, it is something that ought to be dealt with, but the fact of the matter is, I think it's an easy scapegoat for people to point the finger and say, 'Our budget is out of whack because of illegal immigrants.' "

"You know something, as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy that they can get the services," he said Friday. "Because I would like to have the services if I'm somewhere in another country … if I have an accident with a motorcycle and I go to an emergency room, I don't want someone to say, is he here legally?"
From a number of stories I have read about the money mess in California, they seem to blame everything. One of the things that is hardly ever mentioned is the illegal aliens.
Now I don't believe they are the complete blame for the money mess, but the are a BIG part of the problem. You have what 3 million illegal aliens in California? I read it costs $19 BILLION a year to keep them there.Are the State Legislators happy with that?
Maybe it's time for California to get a State Illegal Immigration Law like Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia, Mississippi, Utah, Nebraska and a number of other States. The states mentioned seen how much the illegal aliens were costing them and passed the law.
If you're not going to do anything about the 3 million illegal aliens, don't complain. This is one thing you can do to cut the budget.

How about rape of the America taxpayers? That has to be a major crime. It's no secret that America has become the dumping ground for all the illegal alien children. Then we have to school them and give them free health care. Oh, yes, the parents (parent) get free health care, also. How many illegal aliens are in public housing like obama's aunt?
Yes these are crimes all caused by the ILLEGAL entry into this country. Another way the American taxpayer is raped is with the jailing of these criminal illegal aliens and the cost of deportations.
When we get rid of the illegal aliens, we will get rid of all the problems that go with them.
