Members of the group Move America Forward and residents of the Berkeley community, patriots all, rallied against the Berkeley City Council. The rally was put together after the recent declaration by the Berkeley City Council that the United States Marines were "unwelcome intruders" in their town and designated a parking space in front of the Marine recruitment office specifically for members of Code Pink and their protesting of the center.

I stand by my previous angry rant against the Berkeley City Council and the continued anti-American people in this country who have no idea of the struggle others are going through as they sit on their high thrones and dictate. A bunch of spoiled liberals who claim they support the troops, free speech and civil rights, but willingly violate others rights on a day to day basis and continuously oppose the troops at every turn.

A few days ago the Mayor of Berkeley, Tom Bates, said that the City Council should revisit their decision. I guess they thought their actions would be overlooked by the American people and that they were awoken out of their continued stupor that hating America is fine. Of course a day or so after that Tom Bates was spotted outside the Marine recruiting office where
he joined Code Pink in protesting the center. I suppose Tom Bates also thought his press release to the media would calm things down enough that he could let his true beliefs show. Objective is not in the man's vocabulary, though he would have you believe so if you just went by his press releases.

My older sister is an M.D., and she is a staunch Liberal Democrat. I've been discussing the whole
Berkeley vs the USMC issue with her, when she came up with this gem- "I think I'm going to laminate a photo of Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates to the cover of The Physicians Primer on Proctology, to show everyone what a true Asshole really looks like." And she's a frigging Liberal! Berkely has really angered everyone across the board on this one.

One million? Can you produce some credible evidence to prove that number? And could you also show me a clip of anybody in the USMC saying their "feelings and egos" are hurt. The people who's feelings are hurt are millions of Americans who cannot understand why the Berkeley City Council and Code Pink have such a seething hatred of our armed forces. And yes I CAN PROVE that my "millions" of people exist, unlike your so called millions of dead Iraqi citizens. Oh, and about Oprah, I saw an interview with her late last week where she was very blunt, and clear about her disapproval of the treatment of our Marines in Berkely, and at Walter Reed, and at Military Funerals. Next time, why don't you bring facts to the conversation instead of lies and straw-man arguments .

and Van, citing numbers from the UK based marketing firm ORB, who's primary customer is the very anti-American is the BBC, does not count as credible evidence. ORB is a joke.
