Illegal Alien Groups Tell Arizona Papers Not To Report Immigrant Status

Bookmark and Share

Three organizations that support illegal aliens in this country have told local Phoenix media in Arizona to no longer report the immigration status of criminals in their news reports. They say it would just add fuel to the fire after citizens of the community stood up and demanded an end to employment of illegal aliens in Arizona. This is the tactic used by someone who is losing a fight. They now claim that because the illegal aliens will soon be without jobs that those who stood up for enforcement were just hateful and that the media reporting that illegal aliens are committing crimes would just make them stand even stronger.

It is pretty sad that these organizations even feel like they have the right to try and demand that the news should censor itself. They are not government organizations (well maybe they are Mexican government orgs, but I digress..) trying to keep top secret info out of the hands of terrorists, they are support groups for criminals in this country that are trying to hide the truth of the criminals impact on society.

I think it really is time that these groups who are openly aiding and abetting illegal aliens be investigated and start losing their non-profit status. Most of them act like organizations that could be charged under the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) Act. As in this case they are sure to bring up that 40% of the community is Hispanic and make a veiled threat to the media that if they report the facts, which in this case would be the legal status of criminals, they are being hateful toward Hispanics.

In addition, if most of these groups donor lists are really investigated I'm sure you'll find the footprints of foreign governments making donations - either directly or via corporate structures - in order to influence our laws and coverage of illegal aliens in this country.

Luz Sarmina, President and CEO of Valle del Sol, said she's concerned all Latinos in the Valley are being targeted, regardless of their immigration status. "Latinos are over 40 percent here in this Valley," said Sarmina. "To be hateful towards 40 percent plus of the population is only going to lead to trouble."

But protesters at the day labor work center in North Phoenix Tuesday said the issue isn't about race. "The people are angry and the people have spoken," said Sharon Ferguson. "We are tired of the crime. We are tired of the cost of the health care."

You go Sharon Ferguson! Give 'em hell!

Yep, when the aggressors make trouble they need to take into account the backlash they create, wrongfully, of their own people. The best way to stop illegal alien backlash is to stop coming here illegally.

Luz Sarmina, President and CEO of Valle del Sol, stop the hate. Stop illegal immigration.

If I were a say, oh, french immigrant it would be in my best interests to fight 20 million french illegal aliens. A legal french immigrant could be caught up in the understandable backlash.

Look at what happened to Japanese Americans because Japanese nationals bombed Pearl Harbor...

And we are supposed to understand that someone raised in Mexico can understand America's version of freedom without studying it in the English language?
40% of Phoenix is illegal aliens? I'll be back in a moment. Cancelling my vacation plans.

No one wants to get caught up in the lawlessness and the government has a duty to protect the public. Becoming involved in aiding and abetting is a felony!

These criminals are boldly going where few criminals have dared to go before; right out in front of the main stream media.

It is long over due that we report these acts of aiding and abetting. It could just be the trigger that the police need to act.

You may need to try my two-step plan.

We may have to kiss the keisters of the illegal invaders, it is still a felony to aid and abet them.

If some honest men and women in law enforcement, would go after the lowlifes in the government, business and the general population that have been aiding and abetting them, by the time they had enough of a handle on the job to raise their heads and look around, I don’t think many illegal aliens would still be left.

We don't need any new laws to do this either. Just some honest men and women that take their oaths of office seriously.

Finding them is the first step!

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

"Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."

Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:
* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or
* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

This, I suppose, is the sort of thing they prefer we not associate with illegals:

Those who are Latino first and Americans second deserve to feel a little 'sting' from the backlash. Doubly so, when silently or even actively supporting illegal entry. Aiding and abetting? Absolutely.

As for illegal aliens, they have NO immigration status for the media to 'hide'. They should be clearly identified with every report. Every crime by illegal aliens, employers or politicians should always be the lead story or on the front page. Would be kind of nice to see a section of the paper dedicated to listing the names of all the successful deportations accomplished every day, giving Americans something to cheer about.

Comment to Lastango, it is retarded to associate illegals with all crime in the southwest of our country. If we begin associating one illegal to all then we can do that with people of the same race or socioeconomic background. Thus, it is then safe to assume that all middle class white males are necrophiliacs, cannibals, and rapist if we use Jeffrey Dahmer as the epitome of this demographic. We may even use Timothy McVeigh. Why not take a hardworking father of two, who pays his taxes and follows the law instead. Seems to me the latter would be a better example, the same can be said for some illegals. They are all not bad people, from the looks of post before mine all you seem to think that way. I don't condone the fact that some immigrants arrive to our country illegally but I also see the reason as to why they came to our country, illegally or legally. We cast pebbles at other nations for their problems when we have boulders to be thrown at us. We [the U.S.] have lend a helping hand in the economic turmoil that many countries south of us are going through. Irrelevant to the topic, we did the same to the middle east, we knew they had wmd's because we had the receipts. Then we point fingers at Saddam and other middle east countries. The same goes with immigration, once we've done the damage and the shockwaves return back to the U.S then we begin to point fingers to the countries south of our borders.

Comment to Lastango ... If we begin associating one illegal to all then we can do that with people of the same race or socioeconomic background.

[racist rant snipped]

Funny, all I see at Lastango's comment above is a link to a story. Chase, you are a typical illegal alien supporter. Without any mention of race you go off on a rant about how all white people can be associated with serial killers and domestic terrorists.

Do you even see the outright racism that you project when it comes to an issue that has nothing to do with race? Illegal immigration is committed by people of all races and economic status. Then you go off on a tangent about how illegals don't commit all of the crime in the southwest when nobody even suggested that.

I don't condone the fact that some immigrants arrive to our country illegally.

It's good that you say you don't condone illegal immigration, however these illegal aliens didn't just "arrive" here. They knowingly came here circumventing our laws.

The true you comes out though when you start bashing America. If the racist rant before that wasn't enough, now all the problems of South America are caused by the United States.

The fact is that these countries have chosen their own path (just as the United States has). Agreements that may have hurt them (for example NAFTA) were agreed to by them voluntarily.

It is absolutely 100% the fault of the countries and their governments for the state of their economy, standard of living, corruption, crime and poverty. In many cases the people of those countries sat back and did nothing while their government's fiddled while their countries burn. They continue to do so today, yet expect things to miraculously get better. And if things don't...

... they can just blame the United States.

It's funny that these pro-illegal organizations feel they need to tell the media not to report immigration status because THEY ALREADY DO THAT. Time and time again I need to contact the reporter and ASK them the immigration status of a perp in a story that was conveniently omitted and this is not just media in the southwest aka the front lines of the illegal immigration war. The most that many of them will say is "there is an ICE detainer on them" or something inane like that because they are THAT afraid of "profiling" the perp.. that is how badly polluted this PC environment has become.

The truth is SUPPRESSED by an insidious and invisible force consisting of lawsuit-happy open borders "groups" that are probably backed by the likes of the Bilderberger group and the rest of the elite globalists who seek destruction of the American middle class.

To equate the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor and illegal Hispanics is nuts. Shows you how stupid people are.

As for Luz Sarmina, President and CEO of Valle del Sol,this is not Hate Crime! It is a crime, however, that people come here illegally when others wait 10 years, legally, and sometimes never get here.

My Chinese friend's father never came here and he just died of cancer. My friend never saw his father for over 12 years. Personal reasons why he could not go see his father.

To say illegals do the jobs Americans would not do? That is a lie by Hispanic organizations and the media. I would clean toilets, which I have, if it meant feeding my son, which one may have to do in todays economy, and my 10% less pay I now get.

The US is screwed up. They let anyone, illegal or otherwise, do what they want. Look at how the new administration does not understand reform is what we need, like the last 6 Presidents before him.

Americans are stupid and should read the Constitution, Dec. of Indep., and the Bills of Rights. Then maybe they would move to take back the government because of "abuse and mismanagement."

It was created by and for the people and says something about change decided by the people and not the gov't of a couple of hundred people; and less when it is a state law like gay marriage by the fruit state, CA.

Can you imagine what a very mad person may do if the school tried to not notify him they are forcing his 6 year old to listen to crap about gays and transvestites?
