These Senators just don't seem to get it! Senator Harry Reid and Senator Dick Durbin are rushing through a stand alone DREAM Act Amnesty bill tomorrow (the DREAM Act of 2007 - S.2205). The American people have spoken out many times that they do not want amnesty for illegal aliens. This bill would allow million of illegal aliens to benefit from taxpayer dollars - at the expense of American citizens. It gives permanent resident status to illegal aliens in this country.
Here is what FAIR has discovered about the bill
The DREAM Act will grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and help them pay college tuition at taxpayer expense. Please note that S.2205, unlike some versions of the bill, now has an age limit of 30. There is, however, NO CAP on the number of people who may receive amnesty under the DREAM Act. Moreover, to make even more people eligible for amnesty under the program, Homeland Security may waive the following offenses:
- Failure to show up in court
- Obtaining visas by fraud
- Alien smuggling
- Document fraud
- Violation of student visas
- Marriage fraud
- Falsely claiming citizenship
- Voter fraud
Once an illegal alien applies for legal status under the DREAM Act, he or she may not be removed—FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER—while the application is pending. Furthermore, the educational requirements in the bill are virtually meaningless as Homeland Security may waive the application of them if the alien can show "compelling circumstances for the inability to complete the requirements." And, illegal aliens who obtain amnesty under this bill will likely become eligible for in-state tuition and for federal financial aid.
You need to call now and voice your opposition to this amnesty bill!

i am sickened by this web site and hope one day you will realize that there is people who break a million laws that are americans
There are plenty of Americans who break the law and I hope they go to jail for their crimes. I'm not just against illegal alien criminals, but all criminals.
Why you feel one group of people should get a pass for breaking the law, while others shouldn't is beyond me.
