It doesn't take much to figure out where Hillary Clinton appointed co-chair Fabian Nunez stands when it comes to law enforcement or the sovereignty of this country. This is the same Fabian Nunez who has authored bills to give illegal aliens driver's licenses in California. The same Fabian Nunez who stands behind minimum wage hikes in California. The same Fabian Nunez who Hillary said she would rely on quite heavily. The same Fabian Nunez whom you can read a lot more about who has racist views, Mexico ties and links to Aztlan reconquistas over at Lonewacko.
Here's what he had to say about the May Day riots in MacArthur Park and the LAPD.
[Fabian Nunez] said police deliberately led troublemakers back to the peaceful marchers before beginning their assault.
"The only logical conclusion I can come to is that somebody wanted it to bleed into the march so that they [LAPD]can do some target practice on some of the immigrants that were marching," Nunez said.
"There are no excuses, a simple apology is not going to suffice," said state Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, a Democrat and close ally of the mayor. "To say we are outraged is an understatement. We want those responsible in the highest levels of the LAPD to pay consequences."
Nunez said the department's handling of the rally should be considered in determining whether Police Chief William Bratton is given another five-year contract.
I wonder who the we is he mentioned above?
The police union criticized Nunez for what it called "police bashing".
"... Setting up the population to believe that law enforcement is the enemy is a dangerous game," union President Robert Baker wrote in a letter Friday. "It provokes a lethal us-against-them, anti-law enforcement mentality that encourages violence against police officers."
Nunez's spokesman Steve Maviglio said late Friday that the speaker's outrage "should not be misconstrued as attack on the entire LAPD but rather at the command staff and the few officers who were using excessive force ... The police union should be outraged as well since the few who did this tarnishes the reputation of the brave officers who protect and defend us."
Yeah, Fabian Nunez was misconstrued when he said we regarding an us vs them mentality. He didn't mean we as in Hispanics and he didn't mean them as being LAPD. Riiight.
Look, this guy is clearly only for Hispanics. He has ties to racist hate groups and obviously would support anarchists and thugs who throw rocks, ignore police orders and attack law enforcement over the police officers who are putting their lives on the line to hold order in the city.
And lest you all forget, this is the same Hillary Clinton who appointed La Raza's Raul Yzaguirre To co-chair her campaign. I guess Hillary doesn't mind getting in bed with racist, hate filled groups and individuals who will ignore the rule of law and are quick to side against law enforcement, as long as she wins the White House.
