March 10, 2007 Bank of America will feel the wrath of thousands of opponents of illegal immigration as a nationwide protest to close accounts and cut up credit cards from the bank ensues. Started in motion by the Federal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Coalition (FIRE), National Illegal Immigration Boycott Coalition and groups such as Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, Operation Bankrupt is slated to send a clear message to Bank of America that their plans to give away credit cards and other financing to illegal aliens will not be tolerated by the citizens of this country.
Diggers Realm stands firmly behind this action and urges all to put a hurt on this aiding and abetting of illegal aliens in our country.
Last month Bank of America said it would expand a pilot program allowing anyone without a Social Security Number to apply for a credit card claiming this would make things "more secure", but they're clearly targeting illegal aliens since all of the pilot programs have been launched in the Los Angeles area. Legal residents and citizens of the United States already have Social Security Numbers, so there is no reason for this program to exist in this country.

The Federal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Coalition, a nationwide network of anti-illegal immigration groups in 29 states that is headed by Romoland resident Jason Mrochek, plans to send demonstrators to Bank of America branches in Glendale and other locations on March 10, he said.
“We need to close accounts and cut up cards, but let’s do it all at once,” Mrochek wrote to coalition member groups whose e-mail lists can reach thousands of people. Its online petition had about 15,000 names.
“Let’s do it in such a way that will grab their attention — and not just B of A, but any future company who is contemplating something as treasonous as this,” he wrote.
The National Illegal Immigration Boycott Coalition based in Raleigh, N.C., the home state of Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp., is mounting a separate boycott.
“The banks are trying to anchor the illegal aliens financially to force Americans into accepting their continued presence,” said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration.
“We’re going to try to get hundreds of thousands of people to cancel their accounts,” Gheen said. His group has collected more than 21,000 online petition signatures and has urged people to complain to the bank.
