Truancy. Elvira Arellano has been sending her son Saul around the country and to Mexico using him as a pawn to attempt to get her deportation stayed. Elvira Arellano, who has been "hiding out" in a church in Chicago for 4 months, and whom the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency refuses to go in and arrest, has allowed her son to miss at least 8 days of school according to this Chicago Sun-Times piece.

I'll tell you right now that if a citizen of this country knowingly let their child miss that much school they would be visited by some truant officers and possibly face charges and lose custody of their child.

Is there anything that this woman can't get away with? She just continues to break law after law and faces absolutely no repercussions for her actions. The church and those helping her should also be charged for aiding and abetting an illegal alien.

ICE is worried about the bad PR they will receive if they enter the church and arrest her, but the reality is that all they are doing is emboldening illegal aliens across the nation to totally ignore all of our laws and that they won't face any consequences. They've gotten more bad PR by not doing anything than they ever would have by taking action from the start.

It's a total sham and every US Citizen should be disgusted with the lack of action of this "law enforcement" agency.
