Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Ayman al Zawahri said in a statement to Democrats that they need to give credit for their midterm election win to where it is due, with them. "you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said.
He then told them that they better negotiate with Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaeda.
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.
I wonder what other wonderful things this terrorist will have to say when we start pulling troops out of Iraq.

John Kerry immediately booked a flight to Islamabad
Lucky for the Democrats, now that John Kerry has traveled to Syria to speak with the leader of the terrorist state, they now have a ready and experienced negotiator.
In The Bullpen
Of course I’ve long said that such a Democratic Party victory would be seen by Al Qaida as a victory for their cause, whether or not it’s actual or imagined isn’t entirely certain at this point in time.

How many times did we tell you that the Democrats were de-facto allies with the terrorists in this conflict because they made the GOP and Bush their enemies rather than AQ?
Riehl World View
If the Democrats had the slightest bit of back bone to offer in support of the war on terror, you'd think some Democrat leader would immediately want to take this head on. Unfortunately, they can't really do that, perhaps because to a good extent, it's true.
It amazes me that a) these sort of messages from the terrorists don’t get more media attention and b) that the Democrats continue their defeatist, anti-Bush-at-any-cost ways even those ways are clearly emboldening the terrorists.
