Cory Gregory, the former boyfriend of Sarah Kolb, was sentenced to 45 years in prison today. He plead guilty in April to killing and dismembering Adrianne Reynolds, a 16-year-old girl who moved to the area a few months earlier from Texas and was seen as a threat by Sarah Kolb. The sentence was handed down today in Rock Island County, Illinois.

Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory got Adrianne Reynolds into Kolb's car on Jan 21, 2005 and a fight broke out at a fast food restaurant. It is then believed that Kolb then beat and strangled Reynolds and that Gregory then finished her off. The two then took Reynolds body to Kolb's grandparents farm, burned it, and returned several days later where they sawed it up and spread the pieces in two separate locations in the area.
This was all done after Kolb wrote in her diary just hours before that she wanted Reynolds dead for what she perceived as trying to steal her boyfriend.

"All I really want to do is apologize. It's all I really can do," Gregory said. "If I could give my life to bring her back, I would."
Prosecutors agreed to the plea deal after consulting with Reynolds' family, who held vigil through a long trial and retrial in which Gregory's former girlfriend was convicted of murder.
The teenage years are always difficult, but this crime, vindictiveness and pure evil action is beyond comprehension to those of us who have any semblance of morality.
good lord you pendajos will believe anything, first and foremost, Cory was NOT miss Kolb's Boyfriend, nor has he ever been, he's not that stupid. Another thing, he did not help in the murder, he helped with the dismemberment. If you are wandering how I know all this, to put it simply: Cory is my cousin, my uncle's son, and my mother's nephew. I am sorry someone had to die, I and I wish my cousin was as stupid as he has but he has. Now, you do know he turned himself in right?

Then why didnt Cory stop the fight in the car or get someone or stop Sarah? Well think of it as this way.What if the shoe was on the other foot.What if you were a new student at a school and 3 days later you were dead?

i think cory is just ask guilty. how is he gonna just sit there and let her kill her like that? on top of that help bury the body? she cant even have a proper funeral cause of what they did. and i agree. what if the shoe was on the other foot? truth about it is they both got what they deserved. all they had to do was let her go.

Amazing how stupid guys are -- they will do anything to impress a woman. If playing basketball got him laid -- thats what he would have done. If being goth, or rock n roll, or nerdy, WHATVER he thought could get him laid, thats what he would do.
He met up with this evil woman, and he wasn't grown up enough to know, he could get laid anyway elsewhere, and if the did this - he would not get laid.
He was real stupid. He wont get laid now. He will probably be laying for guys in prison, punked. Gesus what a horrible ordeal, and for nothing.
