Weekly Poll Results: "Did You Make More, Less Or About The Same Amount Of Income As Last Year?"

Last weeks poll was on whether you made more, less or about the same income last year.

The results of the poll are in:

More	32.0%
About The Same	16.5%

It seems like 2005 wasn't a very good year for the majority of you. 32% of you moved ahead a bit though. I wonder what the reasons for the drop in income was for most people?

I actually earn less take home pay than I did four years ago. The reasons why are no pay raises, and steadily-increasing health care premiums.

I would switch employers if compensation wasn't determined solely by seniority.
