Smuggler and "Coyotes" along the Mexican border are planning on paying gang members of the notoriously violent Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang to assassinate and murder Border Patrol agents a recent official memo said. The memo was discovered by the Daily Bulletin. Is it going to take a terrorist act such as the mass murdering of our law enforcement before someone decides to actually do something about this problem?
It's not just a problem along the border either. These gang have infiltrated our inner cities.
The Officer Safety Alert, dated Dec. 21, warns agents that the smugglers intend to bring members of the international Mara Salvatrucha street gang also known as MS-13 into the country for the deadly mission.
"Unidentified Mexican alien smugglers are angry about the increased security along the U.S./Mexico border and have agreed that the best way to deal with U.S. Border Patrol agents is to hire a group of contract killers," the alert states.

Michael Friel, a representative with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said he could not comment directly on the memo, but noted "this wouldn't be the first time agents' lives have been threatened.
"It's no surprise that these smugglers, these criminals, would be threatening our agents," he added. "And that would be a huge mistake on their part if they try."

A Border Patrol agent who spoke on condition of anonymity said agents in the field have been worried since the release of the alert in December.
"It's not just people coming over here to pick lettuce. These gang members, criminals, are endangering American lives," the agent said.
"Our vests won't stop a rifle bullet, and many of us out here feel like sitting ducks," he added.

Let me start by saying that I am not Anti- Latino. There are millions of aliens in this country, illegal and legit, who perform a great service for us. They work the jobs, we as Americans, don't want. The fact that they work hard and cheap is what keeps the borders relaxed. The money saved from the wages paid to these aliens keeps the cost of our can of peaches down. However, with the insurrection of the MS 13 gang of ruthless murderers on the loose there is now a need to build the biggest meanest fence we can build along the border.
The honest portion of Latinos who only want to work and send money home to their families will still get here the proper way. Now I'm not so ignorant to believe that the borders still would not be compromised by determined outlaws but it would be more difficult to overcome.
I am a concerned father of 4 boys and having this dangerous element in our society makes me fear for their safety. My boys aren't trouble makers but it does seem that you only have to be in the wrong place at the wrong time with these guys. They kill for sport so that they can strike fear and submission into the communities they desire to infiltrate. It's not just majors cities they want, it's grass roots America! If this band of thugs want to take my town, my peace of mind, the sanctity of my home they will do so as hot lead pours from the muzzle of my weapons. Enough is Enough.
