My vote would be that she did it on purpose. I was not familiar with fabric that becomes see through when camera flashes hit it, but then again I am not an actress. These celebrity people shop at particular places and also usually have like image consultants and stuff. There is just no way she could accidentally end up with a see though dress.
I think it's a way for them to show off their bodies, yet still seem innocent...that way they can please everyone. Whereas if she ouright did some nudity stuff, many poeple would be like "Look at that slut"
