I covered my displeasure with the people in Laguna Beach who expect a handout from us taxpayers for the loss of their house a few days ago. Two bloggers, both from around Arch Beach Heights, have some coverage from inside the "War Zone" that is worth a quick read.

First, we have Right on the Left Beach who covered the media covering the story. There's some great pictures and commentary there from wandering around the vicinity.

Second, we have American Digest who tells you what it feels like to have 6 helicopters hovering over your house for days. One guy got so pissed that the FBI picked him up for shining a green laser at the copters.

Man, I would be so pissed! I get pissed enough as it is when one copter circles my house with the spotlight on while filming the latest episode of Cops. That's right, I live in a shithole where thugs run up and down the street robbing and raping people. There were 5 robberies and 2 rapes right here in December and 2 attacks in the laundry rooms since then (why are you looking at me like that? I was at home, I swear!). Now the place is like a prison to get in and out of, but I digress.
