The Boston "Dirty Bomb" threat that
I covered January 20, 2005 has turned out to be a hoax. The smuggler who sparked the threat has been arrested

Mexican police arrested Jose Beltran Quinones in Mexicali, Mexico, Monday. Beltrans claimed that he helped a group of Chinese nationals illegally cross into the United States from Mexico.
According to his tip, they were intent on detonating a dirty bomb in Boston.
Beltrans is now being questioned by U.S. and Mexican officials about his motives.
The question remains though that if this was so easily believable as a hoax why don't we do something about it by securing our borders before it happens for real?
