Top Zarqawi Aide, Abdul Aziz Sa'dun Ahmed Hamduni, Captured In Iraq

A Top Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Aide has been captured in the city of Mosul. Abdul Aziz Sa'dun Ahmed Hamduni, also known as Abu Ahmed, was captured last month.

Washington Times

U.S. forces have identified a top terrorist, recently arrested, who had been coordinating and conducting killings in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

... the deputy of ranking Mosul terrorist Abu Talha, is believed to be an ally of Muslim terrorist Abu Musab Zarqawi, another al-Qaida-related leader, the BBC reported Saturday.

Besides Abu Ahmed, who was captured last month, U.S. forces captured other members of his group.

It seems like a lot of these have been announced recently. It may be that one of them is spilling the beans creating a domino effect. The other potential reason may just be that they are being worn down and less able to protect themselves from both informants in Mosul and coalition actions in the region.

I believe that the U.S. as well as other countries with troops in Iraq should bargain with these terrorists who take hostages. If i were leader of one of these countries i would make a counter offer, or a bargain in good faith so to speak. If the hostage or hostages being offered to death in exchange for the removal of troops was not released unharmed within 48 hours, then the amount of troops in Iraq or being sent there would be doubled. The next offer would be triple the amount and so on until the country had more foreign occupiers than they could ever have bargained for. After one year in that dismal country then all those troops risking their lives should be able to have duo citizenship and the rights to vote for who is in leadership there. Of coarse i believe that George Bush Sr. should run as he would have my vote for sure.
