The video you see below is fifty years old and shows that even back then there were threats to our freedoms. It just continues to confound me how in generation after generation there are a large percentage of our country that buys into the fact that there is some magic pill or elixir that will cure all ills. They buy into the belief that hard work and responsibility, self-education and continued improvement are easily discarded as what is needed. Instead people are tricked into thinking that some leader hundreds or thousands of miles away will really care what happens to them when they pass a spending bill or piece of legislation.

The only one looking out for you is you and the quicker that you discard that and don't pay attention to whom you elect the quicker that power will be abused and you will suffer. Take the few minutes to watch the cartoon below and see that there is no quick fix to a situation. That hard work, ingenuity and freedom are what have allowed our country to expand, grow and become what it is today. A country that may be in near future history projects as a good thing that was wasted all in the name of "humanitarianism" and a "save everybody" mentality instead of what it was founded upon.
