Zoe Lofgren - A United States Congressional Representative - has decided to take up the cause of illegal aliens who were busted in the Postville, Iowa "kosher" meat processing plant raid at AgriProcessors, Inc back in May, 2008. For those who don't know this story go to that link and read how Hasidic Jews came into Postville, Iowa bringing their kosher plant there with the support of the community and then proceeded to put all Americans out of work and hire illegals. Hell, there's a whole book written about it. Anti-semetic by pointing out they were Hasidic Jews? No, it shows the greed behind illegal immigration, they could just as well have been any other group of unscrupulous business people.

Anyway, Zoe Lofgren - did I mention she's a United States Congressional Representative - thinks that in this case ignorance of the law is acceptable. Forget the fact that some may have knowingly paid smugglers to come into this country illegally. Ignore the fact that many had false documents. They simply could not have known this was illegal and they should be released and excused of their crimes according to Zoe. Victims? What victims? No American was surely hurt by someone stealing their Social Security Number and working under it (tell that to the IRS). No American was hurt by being put out of work in order to hire an illegal alien in their place for a lower wage. This is a victimless crime according to those who support illegal aliens.

This is the worst of what is going on in Congress and why the American people hate Congress.

I wonder exactly how much money Lofgren is having donated to her campaign - or through other methods such as into businesses she owns or benefiting through stocks she holds. There is simply no other reason that a United States Congressional Representative would come out and say that ignorance of the law is acceptable. Absolutely no reason. Follow the money.

The next time you break a law unknowingly and get a ticket or arrested, tell them that Zoe Lofgren said it's ok.
