This is a disgusting ad released by the John McCain Campaign. In it he celebrates Memorial Day, but only for those who served that are Hispanic. As he mentions in the ad you can go to the Vietnam Memorial and see "a whole lot of Hispanic names". Well you know what? You'll find a whole lot of Italian names. You'll find a whole lot of Japanese names. A whole lot of Native American names and even *gasp* a whole lot of Black names. This is a country that has welcomed people from different backgrounds. A country unlike any other.
John McCain has become so hateful to the service members of this country that it absolutely amazes me that he ever served in the US military. To take a holiday that celebrates the sacrifice of so many for this country and turn it into celebrating only service members from one race or those from one location is absolutely unforgivable.
And before you think I'm being racist, let me point out that I would say the same thing if it was directed only at Italian service members, only at women or only at people who served in the Army. It is simply unforgivable to not celebrate people who sacrificed for this country - regardless of sex or race or branch - as a whole.
John McCain has really taken it to the lowest level with this pandering for votes and it is a slap in the face to all service members not of "Hispanic descent" - including myself.

My friends, I want you, the next time you're down in Washington, D.C., to go to the Vietnam War Memorial and look at the names engraved in black granite. You'll find a whole lot of Hispanic names.
When you go to Iraq or Afghanistan today, you're going to see a whole lot of people who are of Hispanic background.
You're even going to meet some of the few thousand that are still green card holders who are not even citizens of this country, who love this country so much that they're willing to risk their lives in its service in order to accelerate their path to citizenship and enjoy the bountiful, blessed nation.
So let's, from time to time, remember that these are God's children. They must come into country legally, but they have enriched our culture and our nation as every generation of immigrants before them...
What else would you expect from "McCamnesty"? We've all learned by now that this man is a panderer to the illegal alien community, and determined, by hook, crook, and lie, to out Democrat the Democrats on amnesty.
If there were any other real choice but McCain, I'd be pushing him. But given the choice between a panderer and a moderate democrat-disguised as a Republican, and what's clearly a Marxist named Obama, I'll have to vote for the lesser of the two evils. At least with McCamnesty we'll still have America with another chance four years later to try again. With Obamamessiah, we'd have "Amerika" with no chance to fix it four years later.

Jesus, McCain! Talk about "pandering"!
Everyone familiar with my posts knows how proud I am of my Spanish Ancestry, but I am an American first! This is ridiculous!
What? It's gotten to the point where if you are "white" you are no longer considered an "American"?!?!
We have gotten so absurdly "politically correct," that to be "diverse" we must disenfranchise all those whites of European descent living in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and the American Mid-West, that "cling to guns and religion in their frustration" - as Obama patronizingly characterized them nonchalantly in his "Elitist" egocentrism?!?! I tell you what, anyone has a right to be very frustrated, when because they are white, they are summarily dismissed and not counted! Wouldn't you?!?!
The Sacrifice of those who served our Nation in our Military, and died protecting our Freedoms, is beyond any race or skin color! Once you don the Proud Uniform of our Armed Forces, your skin color becomes "Camouflage Khaki" and are all
"Brothers in Arms"!
God Bless Our Military Heroes! God Bless America!
