Though I had only met her once she was a strong woman. One of those women that you look at and wonder where the strength comes from. She felt like an old friend instantly. She had that way about her.

Through the past few weeks she had been facing brain cancer and had undergone the traumatic removal by knife. I think that all would agree she was just as strong then. Planning on beating it. However sometimes things do not turn out as you would like them to and in the end she made her own decisions.

I was planning on posting the below pictures under the title "The Most Amazing Flowers", but I now add them in a more somber setting. I believe that if Ali Jacobson had been standing next to me when I took these pictures that she would have also declared them the most amazing flowers. Indeed!
