NumbersUSA Traditional Vs Illegal Immigration Today [Video]

Bookmark and Share

Roy Beck NumbersUSA presentation on Immigration
Roy Beck, or the people who come up with his visual demonstrations, is a genius and his latest display of the total out of whack comparison of "traditional" immigration to the immigration of today hits it right on the nose. Roy is the Executive Director of NumbersUSA.

Roy traveled to The Mall in Washington, DC recently with a couple of tubes. One tube represents the number of immigrants that came to the United States over its first 200 years (250,000 per year). A second tube represents immigration to this country from 1946 to 1970 (255,000 per year).

These two tubes represent our "tradition" of immigration in the United States.

What shocks most of the people he is giving the demonstration to is when he brings out a large tube that dwarfs the others. This tube represents our legal immigration today from 1990 to the present (1,000,000 per year).

But that is not even the true shocker. In a final "coupe de gras" Roy pulls out the final tube. One equally as large as the one he pulled out just moments before. This tube represents the number of illegal aliens coming to this country today from 1990 to the present (another estimated 1,000,000 per year). This number is even low in my opinion, but it clearly demonstrates the overwhelming problem of illegal immigration in this country today.

Sometimes people need a visual kick in the pants to see a problem.

So watch the video below and the next time you hear someone, particularly the current crop of presidential candidates or members of Congress, spout off about the United States having a "tradition of immigration", remember this video, which clearly shows that our "tradition" has no comparison to what is occurring and being allowed to occur today.

Also below is the NumbersUSA "Immigration Gumball" presentation of how the United States cannot save the rest of the world through allowing them all to immigrate here, but that we need to encourage them to build up their own countries. Definitely watch that one if you haven't seen it before.

After watching these go over to NumbersUSA and signup to fax your congressmembers for free.

Then when you add on to the story that the government whacked our children to make room for them it becomes the...

The Unacknowledged Holocaust

Back in the 60’s the Federal Government came into the public schools and brainwashed us as little children with the message that the children we were about to have were unwanted because the population was rising so fast. They launched a program called, “Zero Population Growth”. They pushed Family Planning and birth control pills. Now they call the same programs, "Safe Sex" but the results are the same. I think you and I both know that you only have to trick people for their few child bearing years and there is no going back.

Many of us never had a say in the future of our unborn.

I am the result of two living cells. One from each of my parents. They are the result of two living cells, one from each of their parents. I wasn't just born. I am a continuation of life. I am a living thing that reaches back into time perhaps 400 million years and the result of billions of joining of pairs of cells. It is possible that if you were to follow my cells back to my parent’s cells and beyond that my family tree touches every living thing here on earth. That is if we limit ourselves to believing life was created here on earth. If it rained down from the immensity of the universe it could reach back into that immensity of time and space, and who knows what relationships and who knows what species.

My family line succeeded, at least until I came up against the Federal Government and their plan to control the population.

I have seen the Federal Government do little else to control the population.

The open border, United States laws only apply to some, is a serious slap in the face. No, not a slap in the face, it reaches well beyond that. Maybe back to the beginning of time and stretch to the bounds of the universe.

Carson, with all due respect, what? I understand your point of America reducing new born Americans but after that, what?

It is regretful that we who oppose illegal aliens are reduced to posting independent responses; we need to work together, like a pack of wolves, and protect our country from the cultural invasion (speak english). Peace.

Fine video, with a couple of problems. One is when he concedes that we are a nation of immigrants. It is a less-than-half truth.

I am not an immigrant. Digger, Ken, Carson, are you? Are you not part of this nation? My great grandparents were immigrants, but not me, my parents or their parents; they were all natural born Americans. Does the "America = immigrants" formula mean that only immigrants Americans? That is convoluted. Ask people who tell you this if they are actually immigrants.

A second response is that we are a nation of settlers. For many generations people came here and didn't immigrate into towns, but went to the wild fronteirs of Rochester, NY etc. Immigrant means you join a society. Puritans weren't immigrants. Jamestown wasn't set up by immigrants. If you ask people if they are immigrants, you may find they are not even descendants of immigrants, but of settlers. Before 1965 this was not a trivial part of our nation.

The presentation also leaves out our tradition of regulation. Our response to the only other surge that could compare in size was cutting it off. In 1924 we cut off immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe (nearly all immigration). These regions were chosen because of the numbers coming from them and the dangerous cultural impact of bringing in impoverished and illiterate people with a cultural tendency towards anarchism and communism (bombings hit us and we were aware of the Russian revolution). Immigrating from China was already illegal. The first surge resulted in riots as people saw their jobs undercut. The Supreme Court said our right to domestic peace was greater than foreigners right to immigrate. That is our tradition. His talk gives none of this history.

I'm surprised no one asked him about what the percentages were. More than a million a year were coming in before the 1924 Act. The census in 1900 says that 13.2 percent were foreign born. The Federal census put it at 7.9 percent in 1990. But, as Carson points out, the cultural and linguistic background in immigration is not irrelevant. These were folks from overseas with a much greater linguistic diversity. This meant the need to learn English was greater.

Did you ever wonder where the money for things like the subversion of the world’s immigration laws may come from?

It seems to me as long as we allow people to print up fiat money there will be no place in the world where freedom can flourish.

If the Globalist oppose your efforts, paid for with real hard earned money, all they have to do is fire up the presses and shovel the money to any group that will oppose you.

Not only that but it seems they do it in such a way that the money to achieve THEIR goals is borrowed from them. Then we pay interest to a group outside of our country, like the Federal Reserve, on the creation and borrowing of OUR OWN fiat money.

IN ESSENCE THEY BEAT US WITH OUR OWN STICK!
