A reader sent in a question to me asking if he should join a white supremacist or white pride organization because he is so fed up with the current invasion going on by illegal aliens into this country. My answer to this reader, whom I'll call John, is a flat out no. I understand the frustrations of John and others like him that are angry over this issue - and the lack of our government in actually doing something about it. I understand his frustration at the contempt leveled at us by the illegal aliens coming here. I understand his frustration at the corrupt organizations and government agencies that are pushing this illegal alien agenda. But the fact of the matter is that racism is wrong. And John's anger is not directed at the proper thing.
I'd like to ask John what his opinion of racist groups like La Raza, MEChA, the Hispanic Caucus, the Black Caucus, the Black Panthers and any other group that focuses solely on race is? I'd venture to guess that he would view them in a low light. The same light he would be viewed in should he also join a despicable group that follows the same creed, only supporting a different color of people than they do. I'm sure John views them with an utter contempt at their openly racist agendas of putting "their race" before - and at the expense of - others, rather than pushing the purpose of which this country was founded on - that of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.
John's anger is directed at the wrong thing. John is not angry with their race, he is angry with the lack of assimilation of legal immigrants and the openly breaking of our laws and demands of illegal aliens. He is angry with their culture stepping on ours. He is angry with our culture being disregarded and our laws being ignored. He is angry with their thumbing their noses at us and parts of this country that have been overrun by other cultures to the point where he can't go into them without getting angry or odd stares in his own country. For people like John, who have secretly or openly contemplated the question of joining a white pride or white supremacist group, I would like to pose a few simple questions to them.
How about the 442nd combat team made up of Japanese-Americans during World War 2?
Amarjit Singh of New York City, an American Citizen from India, who saved an old woman's life (who just happens to be white) when she was attacked by a knife wielding crazy man, with no concern for his own safety?

Because the reality is John, that race is not the issue. No matter how many times I've been called a racist, a hate monger or a bigot, it simply isn't the case. The supporters of illegal aliens like to paint it in that light, but the reality is they have no leg to stand on. Illegal aliens are breaking the law whether they come from Mexico or Ireland or Italy or China.
The real enemy here is lack of assimilation. A lack of new immigrants learning our language. A lack of proper selection for entry into the US, which is no longer based on wanting to come here for our values, but is now based simply around wanting a paycheck, being a relative or to soak our social services. The enemy here is an attack on our culture and way of life not race.
All of those people I mentioned above are not white. They are Black, Asian, Indian, and Hispanic, yet they are having the same feelings as you. They are living in the western culture because they love it and want to preserve it and are just as frustrated at this demanding cultural invasion that is threatening our livelihood and the physical safety of all of our family and friends on a daily basis as you are.
So, do you still think joining a racist white hate group is up your alley? Are you prepared to turn your back on the likes of Ramos and Compean, American heroes of Hispanic descent, and to turn your back on selfless heroes like Amarjit Singh, simply out of frustration? You may have realized that statistically the majority of illegal aliens that are coming here are Hispanic and reacted based off of this fact. I think your reaction is not well thought out though and your anger is misdirected at something that is not the root cause of the issue. I also think that maybe, just maybe, the supporters of illegal immigration have actually gotten to you and made you believe that this is a race issue when it is not.
My suggestion to you John is to join a pro-Western Culture group or a pro-America group, not a race based group. Your love is of our nation and culture, not your race. Plenty of people from all races have contributed to the western culture we all enjoy. People you would call friend. The beauty of our culture is that it really doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman or whether you are black, white, red, yellow or brown. In a western culture everybody who participates and believes in it matters.
I agree with your sentiments on the trap of joining a "race only" group is not the answer - just because *they* are doing it doesn't make it *right* to do. However, I don't think being part of a *white pride* group means people who feel proud of their race want to go around lynching people or doing away with the other race. That is exactly what is wrong with this picture. If you have Hispanic Pride, people don't assume you want to wipe all other races off the earth. But if you have White Pride they do. Not fair and not correct.
It's time for Americans to be Americans, not Asian-American or Latino-American or Italian-American and it's time for ALL race based groups to be called out for what they are - racist. We need to defuse the power given to the word "racism". If you are truly not a racist then you will see no difference in people based on the color of their skin and THAT also applies to how minorities view white skin as well.
Maybe not lynch them, but your comment is contradictory.
On the one hand you are saying it is fine to join a White Pride group, then on the other you are saying we should do away with "ALL race based groups".
It's one thing to be a part of a St. Paddy's Day parade or Chinese New Year thing that celebrates cultural heritage and it is quite another to be ready to sell out the country you live in at the drop of a hat. Split loyalty cannot exist in a country that wants to move forward.
Groups like White Supremacists and White Pride are just as divisive as groups like La Raza and the Black Panthers.
You say it's time to do away with the hyphenated Americans, yet you start off your comment by saying it should be fine to be associated as a "White-American" in essence. It simply won't work.
I leave you with this quote from Teddy Roosevelt (you may substitute the word nationality with the word race where appropriate, as split allegiance in any way - whether it be race or nationality - should be condemned).
There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.
This is just as true of the man who puts "native" before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. I'd venture to say that if you started a White Race only group, the NAACP, ACLU, and a whole host of other groups would sue the pants off you! After all, you're rich. you're the White guy. The one who has everything fed to you on a silver platter with a silver spoon.

You missed my point Digger. I don't think we should have ANY hyphenated Americans and we should not have race-based groups at all. But if we continue to allow groups like La Ratza and NAACP to promote only "their own" then I think it should be fine for the white race to do the same. None of these groups promote lynching anyone *including* most of the "white pride" groups. Until all race based groups are not tolerated, then there should be no reason the white race cannot form their own "whites only" group too. I'm tired of the double standard frankly and reverse discrimination.

If white people form their own race-based groups, we are abdicating our postion as Americans. We become as race-identified as the groups that we criticize. We exclude people from other genetic backgrounds from our efforts to preserve American culture. It's not only whites, obviously, who believe in American values and an American heritage.
I have thought a long time about this question because it is so frustrating to see every race under the sun forming racist groups without rebuke. But it's just a burden that we will have to bear as part of protecting an America that is made up of people of all backgrounds.

I was born and raised in central Arizona, and over the past few years, my hometown has been taken over by illegal aliens. It got to the point where there was a liquor store on every corner, and mariachi music rattling my windows around the clock. My car and washing machine were repeatedly stripped for parts, and the goats and chickens my new Mexican neighbors kept in their backyards kept sneaking into my yard and making messes. I couldn't complain to them about this, however, since I was the only English-speaker on my block.
My mother, who lived nearby, once filed a complaint on her own illegal alien neighbors. (They were running an unlicensed auto body shop in the apartment complex's parking lot, and the diesel fumes from their equipment were making her sick.) She subsequently received a series of poorly spelled death threats.
Finally, I got sick of that atmosphere and had to move to another county. It's really hard not to become racist in an environment like this. I've been seriously considering joining a white nationalist organization lately, but I think your arguments just talked me off the ledge. Selling out one's American identity for a White identity isn't the answer. We need to drop the hyphens and stick together.

OH and yes I think you should join a group to counter the hate groups LaRAZA, MECHA, NAACP, SPLC, ACLU and other hate groups that hate Americans of all colors.
Trouble is, each candidate except one has a member of one of these groups working for them, so how can you win?

well if you want to join a group that is okay but people need to stay focoused on solving the problem instead of adding to it! all races in this country need to get along because there are groups out there that do not care if your black or white they want to kill americans and that is us!

Racialist, belief or therein trust that one/sing race/breed is superior to competition and/or other examples.
Do you see the flaw here? No, he shouldnt join a wp group because most are zog controlled anyway, a way to get you to march and have pretty photos taken with your name on a file. If he wants to make a difference to the country, then join a group who isnt run by zog, join the lines the right way, and you'll be able to make a difference!
The NAAWP and KKK both "claim" that they only they're only taking pride in their own race but the problem is contained within the websites and actions of both organizations is in fact racist. I am a white american, I take great pride in this I enjoy knowing what people of my descent have accomplished. I have no problem with other races and in fact, have a mixed nephew with whom I love very much. The reason people associate white pride with racism is the double standards and idiotic statements by these organization that have left a stereo-type on anyone who claims white pride. You want to blame someone for this? Talk to the dumb rednecks in the KKK that created the trail you walk in.
As for immigration, legal or illegal. I was born and American, who the hell am I to complain, I did nothing to obtain my citizenship? The one's who should be pissed are the legal immigrants that went through the lengthy process to become a citizen just to watch someone get amnesty for sneeking in. I'd imagine if I lived in the crap hole most of Mexico is (sorry but compared to the states it's the truth) I would want to come here as well. Who are we to turn down extra tax dollars that allowing work vistas would create?
As for the issue of whites being treated differently with less chances for assistance. With the exception of African American scholarships and affirmitive action (which I strongly disagree with), poor whites have just as much opportunity for assistance. I do not feel sorry that the majority of people who live under assistance are minorities in this day in age, I beleive you are responsible for your own actions that result in where you are today. I busted my ass over a period of years to pay for school and work full time all while supporting a family; it's hard work that result in a greater future, nothing great comes easy and it shouldn't!
I do acknowledge that there is a double standard with what is racist and what is not. Racist terminology is what it is regardless of the color of the skin it comes from. If you call me a h*nkey or cr*cker it would offend me (therefore I beleive it should be censored) just as if a white was to call a minority a term such as n*gger or sp*c. And media is the blame for this. It's more opt that a story will show up for white on black crime as a hate crime then vice versa.
Moral of the story, humans are not nice people and nothing will ever change regardless of how many great men and women carve the path. Stupid people will always exist.
