In regards to the Duran-Gallardo situation, how do you think the public and the Judge would have felt if the genders were reversed? You are mixing up the two cases. The sick miscarriage (sorry for the mixed metaphor) of justice was for the first ruling. Zuniga should have spent years in the slammer getting slapped around by some reform school broads. But as for Gallardo.... (First of all why does his mother have a different name than he???) You are mixing up the first crime with an appeal filed by HIM. HE is filing a case with the State of Texas claiming custody. This is an absurd proposition because he is INDIGENT. You can verbally say "his mother will help raise the child" but in a Court of Law the name Gallardo is the appellant. That does not wash. The only other legal course is for his mother (what's her name again?) to legall adopt the child. The sad fact is that there is no other employed parent except Zuniga. With a psychologist monitoring this child it will work out for the best.
