HR 1268, Supplemental Bill With Real ID Act Attached, Passes Senate With 100-0 Approval

The Senate voted 100-0 to approve HR 1268, also known as the "Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Tsunami Relief, 2005", last night at 5:50PM. Attached to this legislation was the Real ID Act that passed the House on May 5, 2005. It now heads to President Bush to sign.

A wise move to attach this to the appropriations bill for the war. The Real ID never would have passed on its own.

It would have passed in the House. It's the Senate that would be the problem.
