I was just crusing around tonight/morning and managed upon an excellent write up by EdWonk over at The Education Wonks.

It goes over numerous opportunities squandered by Kerry that could well have put him in the White House if EdWonk was running his campaign rather than some Asshat.

I went with the analysis of the data showing opposition to gay marriage as the main motivation of the religious, but intolerant. The situation is reminiscent of the opposition the civil rights movement faced. One can never underestimate hate.
