Iraqi Hostage Barie Nafie Dawoud Ibrahim Beheaded By Terrorists

Bookmark and Share

A new video of an Iraqi hostage being beheaded has been released by the terrorist group The Army of Ansar al Sunnah. This is the same group that murdered 12 Nepali hostage back in August.

This group has beheaded several others they have claimed are CIA agents.

Barie Nafie Dawoud Ibrahim was an Iraqi contractor.

The disgusting video can be found here(It is graphic) from NEIN.

Reuters has this story.

An Iraqi Islamist group beheaded an Iraqi contractor it said was working for U.S. forces, a video on an Islamist Web site showed Saturday. The footage from the group, Ansar al-Sunna, showed a militant beheading the man, identified as Iraqi national Barea Nafea Dawoud Ibrahim.

The group said in a statement accompanying the video that Ibrahim was an "apostate" (a person who abandons their faith). It was dated Oct. 2.

"I have set up three telecommunications networks for the Iraqi National Guard. I have been working in Taji since June 2004," a frightened-looking Ibrahim told the camera. He was wearing an access badge issued by the U.S. forces around his neck.

Two men later held him down and one proceeded to behead him, before placing his severed head on top of his body.

Sick pigs. We need to stop this crap.

You cannot fight a barbaric enemy with an armed force governed by the Geneva Convention. We must fight fire with fire. For every westerner killed in Iraq, we should slaughter 1000 Iraqi women and children. Then the killing of innocent westerners will stop!

While I agree with the sentiment of being a "hard-ass" you do realize the fellow beheaded was Iraqi?

Why would we go kill Iraqi women and children for an Iraqi being beheaded?

The fact of the matter is they want us to go off and kill civilians or at least pin the killing of civilians on us. That way they can get more people to agree with their hatred towards us and possibly recruit more to their cause.

The time for diplomacy is over though. Time to stop wimping out right when we have someone like that Al-Sadr guy cornered.

A war on terrorism is a unwinable war. There will always be terrorists in the world. Not everyone will see eye to eye and they will rebel. To fight a "war on terrorism" (though comendable) is foolish. Your fighting a enemy you cannot see. We have liberated Iraq, We should NOT be the world's police! We need to focus on what is here at home.Make new jobs so that OUR people wont have to go overseas and risk themselves for lack of jobs. Strengthen OUR borders from future attacks. And keep OUR egos in check. I have heard people say we have the strongest army in the world. Well, the strongest does not always win the fight. To beat terrorism you have to become a terrorist yourself. You have to stick it to them before they ever get a chance to get you. We havent been able to get Bin Laden he has now become a hero overseas and this war is only getting our people killed, innocents killed, and showing that Al Queda is the most popular terrorist organization in the world. We cannot win a war where we dont know who the enemy is. Different strategy is needed.

I spent five years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. I have followed the news stories and although I have tried on several occasions to actually watch the videos, I always close them before they finish. I cannot comprehend the brutality behind them, nor can I understand the fanaticism in the name of any god.

I have to believe that there are millions of islamic people in the world that are just as appalled by these actions as I am. I do not believe as an American citizen that breeding hatred towards a group of people because of the actions of so few is an effective way of dealing with the problems at hand.

i am an sgt stationed with the army in iraq for 9monthes now. while it has been said that we should not have come or this is no more then a oil war, im proud to serve and would volunteer again if asked. i do believe though that you cannot win against a group who are willing to give there lives for a religuos belief, unless you destroy every single one of them. as soldiers we have faith in each other and our equipment and would give our lives for each other but unfortunetly we dont have the edge of fanatical belief which is a awesome weapon against any army.this place resembles a vietnam in the desert due to the fact we cannot always identify the enemy from civilin, they work for us on post during the day and fire rockets at night.please remember that the majority of iraqis are good people and most of the insurgents are found to be non iraqi arabs. even i find myself not caring and putting them all in the same "raghead" category. we cant hate a race, only individuals, or we become like them

It's a sick world we live in. As a Muslim, I think the US should nuke an Iraqi city for every US soldier killed. Game over! You don't kill 1 rat to solve a problem? You neutralise the nest. That is the only solution here. Babarism at it's worst under the name of GOD? During the 2nd world war they dropped the bomb on Japan. It stopped them cold in their tracks and saved many lives...

Yes it seems extreme and harsh, but try watching a beheading video all the way through! It's time to act like a super power and let those who challenge it feel the whoop ass it deserves. Screw Russia, Germany and France who all suck as they profited with Saddam whilst millions died and suffered at the hands of that maniac. Put yourself and your loved ones in an Iraqi's position or A WW2 concentration camp victim, or a Ruandan or anyone who is a victim of Madmen and Genocide. Wouldn't you want someone, anyone to step up and save you?

Shame on all Islamic leaders of the world for not condeming the terrorists. It says in the Quran, to kill an innocent human being, is likened to killing all humanity. Strictly forbidden. They will rot in hell. To the people of the world, know that there are good people and evil people under guises of all religions. Proof that evil does walk the earth.

The USA hasn't always been consistant in it's foreign policies, but they have a good heart and the freedom here is incredible. You have rights, food, work, housing, electricity, water and the basics to have a decent life. Many people from all over the world call this place home and thrive here.

Thank God for the USA. Thank God for the UK. "Hindsight Kerry", get lost! Bush be strong and win. It will be a long road.

US troops from the WW2 and up, thank you for your sacrifice so that my son may live in a free America. I pray for your safe return to your loved ones.

Finally...life is way too short. Be all you can be in the time that you have.

May good prevail...

I admire the men and women from all nations that are serving in Iraq, I was in Bosnia, Albania and The Congo on humanitarian missions with the USMC and I know the good that we do for people throughout the world.

Concerning the issue of Russia, France and Germany:
Two of them would be speaking german if it weren't for us and the other is lucky they still speak german.

To quote George S. Patton "Lead me, follow me or get the hell out of my way"

The people who execute these brutal acts in the name of god will have to face judgement on their own, it will not be at the hands of one of our soldiers, but at the hands of the very being that that they are "killing for"

Only honest realistic video coverage of what happens in the Middle East will get Americans to truly understand what we are dealing with over there. SHOW IT ALL!!! Make us civilians SEE what these people are like through and through. The Fruit does not fall far from the tree. Well, show what Islam is all about... On the 10 o'clock news.... For all they accuse us americans of doing...WE DON'T CHOP OFF HEADS!!!!

How can you all sit at your computers in the comfort of your homes and workplaces typing these sick little notes.
Your country along with the British illegally invaded Iraq. You cannot justify that action. The excuse that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction was a lie. Not only that but American intelligence(?????) knew it was a lie(they made it up themselves). Then there was the one about Saddam and 9/11. There is no known link(anywhere).Remember it was mostly Saudi nationals who hijacked those planes. Then they had to come up with a regime change for the good of the Iraqi people. (could have done that in 91 with the worlds help)except that dosn't ring true either, remember who helped keep Saddam in power when Iran was the bogeyman, who supplied Saddam with his weapons of mass destrustion which he used on the kurds,Yes thats right the good old USofA.
References to how America won WW11 will surely make no friends in Europe (not that you care)Americas effort ensured victory where defeat was probable , that is true, but you seem to be ignoring the effort of the rest of the world in the fight. The same seems to be happening now.
An earlier contributer warned that Americans should keep their egos in check (is that possible). This supposed threat from globable terrorism can only be countered with the combined effort of all countries. You are not the worlds police and never have been, nor do we want you to be.We have our own democracys, police, military and politicans(for what they are worth).
Another person quoted the Quran with regard to the killing of innocents and then had the nerve to suggest nuking entire Iraqi cities. Is it just me or is that insanely hypocritical.
Killing thousands of innocents in retribution is what fuels terrorist attacks.Even the most blinkered soceity must see that. Nor can the nation of America feel any moral superiority about not beheading its own or anyone elses citizens after all how many of your own citizens do you execute each year. And before you get on your high horse, there is no justification for state sponsered murder no matter how good it feels. All to often we hear of the justice system of America giving people fair and open trials , excuting them and then discovering their innocence through whatever circumstance.
Please feel free to join with the rest of the free world not take it over, all you will end up with is the hatred of all not just a few.

You would think these sick cowards would crawl out of there dirty rat holes and fight like real men instead of taking the lives of innocent people. They are nothing but a bunch of C O W A R D S hiding. They are not even men. Looks to me like someone is looking for attention. Obviously, it's getting to the point where they kill people of their own nationality. Pretty PATHETIC.I will be loving it once our soldiers get them so good to where they have nowhere to run. It will be our turn to stare at them from neck up. Sick dirty disgusting smelly rats. Thank you.

I served in the United States Army for 3 years. Lots of things that went on I didnt agree with but understood that I volunteered and that there wasnt much choice in the matter. While deployed to Iraq I lost a lot of good friends and not only did I lose them their families lost them too. They are never coming back. There is no real explanation for what is going on over there but utter caos. The soldiers over there that fight for these unappreciative people do so with pride and honor as that is our code. We may never be thanked or appreciated by the people that we fight and die for daily and they may never understand why we want to help them but everybody must understand life goes on and people always do things that we may not understand. It still happens though. If you are not involved in it or you dont have anybody that is involved then what makes you think that you have the right to have an opinion. You can talk shit about the soldiers that are over there dying and risking their lives but until you walk one day in their shoes in that hot dry deadly shithole then you should keep your mouth shut and your opinions to yourself. If your opinion means that much to you and you feel that you should have a say then join the military and show your dedication to this country and the ones that you love.

Lets start cutting their heads off like they would do to us. or just drop a couple huge atomic bombs on iraq and say the hell with them sick bastards and cowards, make the people of iraq stand up on their own and stop being such pussies. That country is not worth even one american life let alone 3,000 something. we should send them straight to hell where they belong.
