Michael King has a piece over on his site
Ramblings' Journal entitled "
Help get rid of "F DUBYA" license plate". He's calling for people to write into the DMV headquarters here in Sacramento to have the plate yanked. It is apparently owned by some liberal wacko who actually called into a radio show to defend the license plate.
I find the plate and the discussion hilarious myself and I'm voting for Bush. The guy who owns it is named Phil, maybe I should go file for the license plate "F PHIL".
Why he shouldn't be allowed to have that license plate is beyond me. I'm not a politically correct person though and think stuff like "ASSFUCK" would also be fine on a license plate.
But that's just me.
Well, folks, this is PHIL and I do appreciate your support of the concept of dissent. However I'm disappointed you have concluded I'm a "liberal wacko", when you know nothing about me. It's too bad there's no real discussion of what matters anymore, just name-calling. And I think it's particularly unfortunate that at a time in our history when we most need national unity, we have been torn apart so terribly.
